Don H. Bumgardner believes that as a lawyer, he has a duty and privilege to give back to his community. For the past 10 years, he has been on the Board of Directors of B.R.E.A.D, Inc., which is a Gaston County Christian organization dedicated to feeding the hungry. He has donated time, money, and energy in trying to help the less fortunate. In addition, for the past eight years, he has been a Team Captain of the Gaston County Relay for Life, a fund raising project sponsored by the American Cancer Society and has raised substantial money from individuals and corporations to aid in the fight against Cancer.
